Ananta Relationship & Bond System Guide

Ananta has a relationship and bond system with your characters. Here's the little that's officially confirmed — and the long list that isn't.

What Is the Relationship System?

Ananta features a relationship and bond system with the characters in your roster. As you spend time with characters through story missions, side quests, and daily interaction, your connection with them deepens — unlocking new story content and expanding their narrative beyond the main story.

That’s the shape of it. The mechanics underneath — bond tiers, gifts, daily interactions, what each level unlocks — have not been announced, and the sections below separate the two carefully.

What We Know

Three things have official standing.

Bonds are a stated feature, not a fan theory. NetEase’s own announcement of the game describes non-mission gameplay that includes “weekend explorations” and building friendships, alongside city activities such as visiting clubs, libraries and museums. So the social layer is part of the pitch, not something read into a trailer.

The cast is written to support it. Every confirmed character has a distinct job, personality and set of habits rather than a combat role — Aileen manages Dream Garden, Ringo is a high schooler moonlighting as a D.P.A. liaison, Taffy is a courier chasing a follower count. That’s the raw material a bond system usually feeds on.

You’re a fixed point in it. The Captain is the player character, male or female, customisable in name, outfit and car. Relationships in Ananta are built around that anchor rather than a silent avatar.

What We’re Waiting to Confirm

Everything about how it actually works:

  • How bond or relationship levels are tracked and increased
  • Whether a gift-giving system exists, and what it accepts
  • What unlocks at each tier, and whether it’s story, cosmetics or gameplay
  • Whether every character has relationship content, or only some
  • Whether there are daily interaction mechanics, and whether they’re timed

You will find Ananta relationship guides that list bond tiers, gift preferences and affinity tables. None of that has been published. Where a page gives you a numbered tier list for a system the developer hasn’t described, it is describing a different game or an imagined one.

We’d rather this page stay short. It gets rewritten with real mechanics the moment there are any.
