Ananta made its first physical appearance in months at Bilibili World 2026, which ran July 10 – 13 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. After a long stretch with no public activity, that alone was news to a community that had started to wonder whether the marketing had stalled.
What it wasn’t: a reveal. No new trailer, no release date, no beta announcement. Here’s exactly what showed.
What actually appeared
A Porsche 918 Spyder itasha. A red 918 Spyder wrapped in Ananta artwork sat in Hall 5.1. On-site industry coverage of the show singled it out as one of the most-photographed displays on the floor — notable at an event where miHoYo, Kuro Games, Hypergryph and Tencent were all running full booths.

Ananta appeared at AMD’s booth — AMD’s first time formally exhibiting at Bilibili World — where a re-edited version of the existing gameplay trailer played, carrying an “Ananta x AMD” card. The footage itself was previously released material with minor editing, not new content.
That’s the complete list. Anything beyond those two items that you’ve seen attributed to Bilibili World is not something we can trace to a source.
Why a re-cut trailer still matters
It’s fair to be underwhelmed by old footage. But two things here are genuinely new information:
- The marketing operation is active. The gap since the September 2025 gameplay trailer had grown long enough that “is this project okay?” became a recurring community thread. A physical build-out — a wrapped car doesn’t happen on short notice — says otherwise.
- There’s a hardware partner in the picture. An “Ananta x AMD” card is the first visible platform or hardware tie-in this game has had. What it converts into later — optimization messaging, a bundle, a benchmark showcase — is unknown. That it exists is the point.
Neither of those is a release date. Both are more than nothing, which is what the previous few months had produced.
The precedent this sets for ChinaJoy
There’s a pattern worth noting. In 2025, an Ananta trailer surfaced at a PlayStation booth at ChinaJoy — Ananta was not an exhibitor of record — and the game itself was then shown at Tokyo Game Show later that year.
Bilibili World just repeated the shape of that move: appear on a partner’s screen, not under your own name.
This matters because Ananta is not a named exhibitor for ChinaJoy 2026 (July 31 – August 3). On the published lineups, that reads as absent. Based on how this title has actually behaved, an absent listing is not the same as an absent game. Watch the partner booths.
Update, August 7 — how that call turned out. ChinaJoy ran July 31 – August 3 and closed with no Ananta showing found of any kind: not on the NetEase booth, not on the PlayStation booth that ran its trailer in 2025, and not on a partner’s screen anywhere. Nothing surfaced retroactively in the days after. So the partner-booth pattern is real — it happened twice — but it did not repeat here, and this time the absent listing and the absent game agreed. That does not retire the caveat for Gamescom (August 26–30); it does mean it should carry less weight than it did a month ago. Full record.
What this does not tell us
- Nothing about the release date. There is still no official date. Naked Rain has pointed at a 2026 window without committing to a day, and nothing at Bilibili World narrowed that.
- Nothing about the next test phase. No beta dates have been officially given. Claims of a specific test window remain unverified.
- Nothing about the roster. No new playable characters were shown. The confirmed roster is unchanged.
